AAPI Jounralists Past, Present, and Future

Please join the School of Communication, the Antiracist Research & Policy Center, the Kennedy Political Union, and the American Forum to celebrate the launch of the American University chapter of the Asian American Journalist Association. The event will take place in McKinley's Malsi Doyle and Michael Forman Theater with doors opening promptly at 6:30 PM. This event is only open to American University community members and a small reception will follow after. RSVP Here

Wesley Lowery Discusses His New Book, “American Whitelash”

Professor Wesley Lowery, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and the new executive editor of the Investigative Reporting Workshop, discusses his bestselling new book American Whitelash: A Changing Nation and the Cost of Progress with journalists Kojo Nnamdi, host of The Politics Hour with Kojo Nnamdi on WAMU 88.5, and Jenny Gathright, criminal justice reporter for WAMU/DCist, at a free, in-person event.
